Dandelion Leaf
Dandelion (Taraxacum officinale) is a perennial herbaceous plant native to North America. A member of the Aster/Daisy family, Dandelion has a myriad of health benefits and is a wonderful herbal to work with. All parts of the plant are edible!
The leaves have highly jagged edges that resemble the teeth of a lion; giving the plant its name. Its been called "fairy clocks" because its flowers open and close predictably.
Dandelion leaves are a powerful dieuretic (herb used to help flush excess fluids from the body) and a blood purifier. A strong protecter and healer for the liver; it helps to rid of toxins and keep liver function healthy.
