About the Event
Hibiscus is an ancient medicinal plant ally that has been with us for centuries. Our ancestors used them to treat many heart and liver related disease.
Here’s an opportunity to come out and explore in nature, get to know the essence of hibiscus and rekindle your connection to this ancient healing plant.
We’ll be touring the Apothecary Garden, harvesting, and learning the rich history of this West African native plant. You will learn how to identify, how to harvest, how to make tea, and how to properly save the seeds of Hibiscus Flower.
All ages are welcome and we encourage children and students.
